- Rotherham Hospital is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Domestic Cleaners to join our Facilities team.
- This vital role supports patient care and safety by ensuring high standards of cleanliness across infection control areas of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialist cleaning duties in designated infection control areas
- Use appropriate cleaning materials and equipment safely and effectively
- Work safely at height using step ladders, following health and safety guidelines
- Maintain strict hygiene protocols to prevent cross-contamination
- Accurately complete cleaning checklists and records
About You:
The successful candidate will:
- Be able to work confidently and safely in infection control environments
- Be physically able to perform cleaning duties, including using step ladders
- Follow strict hygiene and infection prevention guidelines
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience is highly desirable – full training will be provided
- Must be able to work in infection-controlled settings and use step ladders as part of the role
