Reed is currently supporting a Training Establishment in Rotherham in their recruitment of Lecturer in Carpentry and Joinery. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for experienced educators looking for a new challenge. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of skilled carpenters by delivering outstanding education and training.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

Deliver outstanding teaching up to Level 3, including study programmes, adult programmes, and apprenticeships in carpentry and joinery.
Engage students in both workshop and classroom environments with an enthusiastic and engaging approach.
Motivate students and support them to achieve their potential through the delivery of practical, theoretical, and digital content.
Monitor and track learner progress to promote positive outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Vocational qualification at Level 3 or above in a relevant field.
Relevant teaching qualification.
Enhanced DBS, subscribed to the Update Service (applications still welcome who do not currently have their DBS)
Ability to bring the subject to life with a combination of practical, theoretical, and digital methods.
