We are seeking an experienced and skilled groundworker to join our team on a contract basis for an upcoming project in Middlesbrough. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of groundworks, including drainage and kerbing.
Responsibilities:
- Excavation and preparation of ground for foundations.
- Installation of drainage systems.
- Laying kerbs and paving.
- Ensuring work is carried out to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Working effectively as part of a team.
- Assisting with other groundworks tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a groundworker.
- A valid CSCS card is essential.
- Experience in drainage and kerbing.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Own transport is desirable but not essential.
