We are seeking an experienced and skilled groundworker to join our team on a contract basis for an upcoming project in Middlesbrough. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of groundworks, including drainage and kerbing.

Responsibilities:

  • Excavation and preparation of ground for foundations.
  • Installation of drainage systems.
  • Laying kerbs and paving.
  • Ensuring work is carried out to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Working effectively as part of a team.
  • Assisting with other groundworks tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a groundworker.
  • A valid CSCS card is essential.
  • Experience in drainage and kerbing.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Own transport is desirable but not essential.
