We鈥檙e working with a well-established organisation based in Teesside to find an experienced HR Advisor to join their HR team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role where you鈥檒l partner with business units to provide expert HR support across a workforce of 700+employees, ensuring best practice and compliance while supporting managers and employees across key HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

In this varied role, you will:? Oversee end-to-end recruitment, from job adverts to onboarding.? Issue contracts, offer letters, and employment-related documentation.? Deliver induction training to new employees.? Ensure compliance with Home Office right-to-work checks.? Provide HR policy and employment law advice to managers.? Support employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management.? Act as a key HR contact for employees, providing support and guidance.? Liaise with external providers, including training organisations, benefits providers, and union representatives.? Manage HR records, payroll administration, and benefits schemes.? Prepare and analyse HR reports and employee data to support decision-making.? Oversee occupational health and vision screening programmes.? Support with temporary contracts, probationary reviews, and site-based workers.

  • Proven experience as an HR Advisor (or similar role).
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A confidential and professional approach to handling HR matters.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • IT proficiency, including experience with HR databases and Microsoft Office.

Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., manufacturing, construction) is beneficial but not essential.
