Salary: 27,254 - 28,142 per annum

Contract: Full-time, rota-based (including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-in shifts)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people?
We are looking for dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our Children's Care team. You will provide high-quality care and support to meet the physical, emotional, social, and cultural needs of children and young people, including those with complex emotional and behavioural needs.

Key responsibilities of the Residential Support Worker:

  • Deliver safe, nurturing care in residential homes and community settings.
  • Support children in education, health, and social activities.
  • Follow and update care plans, safeguarding plans, and risk assessments.
  • Administer medication (training provided).
  • Act as a key worker for designated children (Grade G).
  • Work collaboratively with families and professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports using IT systems.

The successful Residential Support Worker will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or willingness to work towards) in Children & Young People or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children, young people, and families.
  • Flexibility to work a 24/7 rota, including sleep-ins.
