Job Title: Social Worker - Child in Need TeamLocation: MiddlesbroughPay Rate: £36.26Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a Child in Need Team based in Middlesbrough.What will your responsibilities be?

  • Early Intervention and Prevention: Working with families to address early signs of need and prevent escalation of concerns.
  • Supporting Families: Developing and implementing support plans to help families overcome challenges, improve their parenting skills, and build stronger relationships.
  • Promoting Child Wellbeing: Focusing on the child's wellbeing, ensuring their needs are met, and promoting their development and growth.
  • Safeguarding Children: Investigating allegations of abuse and neglect, ensuring the safety and protection of children at risk.
  • Case Management: Conducting thorough assessments, developing care plans, and coordinating services with other agencies.
  • Court Work: Providing expert testimony in court proceedings, advocating for the child's best interests.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a Social Work England registration.
  • Be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Hold a full UK licence.
  • Social Work Qualification, degree or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years' experience as a social worker within children's services.
