Job Title: IT Project Manager

Location: Cheshire 2 days p/w on site

Salary Range: £45-55,000 per annum

We are working with a prominent Software Product Company who create bespoke ERP solutions. They are on the brink of an exciting phase, gearing up to deploy their advanced ERP systems across multiple client locations. Considering this expansion, they are actively seeking an IT Project Manager to spearhead the successful implementation and delivery of these pivotal projects.

Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans to ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, particularly Software Developers, to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

  1. Agile Methodology:
- Apply Agile principles to project management, fostering adaptive planning, iterative development, and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate key Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

  1. Software Life Cycle Management:
- Demonstrate a nuanced understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring its seamless integration into project management processes.
- Engage closely with Software Developers to address project requirements, navigate technical challenges, and ensure alignment with overarching business objectives.

  1. Stakeholder Management:
- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment of project objectives.
- Manage expectations diligently and provide regular project status updates to key stakeholders.

  1. Quality Assurance:
- Implement and oversee robust quality assurance processes, guaranteeing the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Conduct meticulous testing and validation of deliverables to uphold established standards.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven track record as an IT Project Manager, preferably within the domain of IT, Food and / or Manufacturing.
- Profound understanding of Agile methodologies, coupled with hands-on experience collaborating with Software Developers.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Possession of a Prince 2 qualification would be advantageous.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to proficiently manage multiple projects concurrently.
