Join a fast-growing medical device manufacturer in Mildenhall, Suffolk, as a Stores Operative. This is an exciting hands-on role supporting the production of devices that improve patient care, in a busy, dynamic environment.
The Pay & Hours:
- 12.94 p/hour
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00, 37.5 hours/week
Role & Responsibilities:
- Unload/load lorries and vehicles using forklifts and pallet trucks
- Occasional local driving for collections/deliveries
- Check and record incoming deliveries in ERP system
- Label, identify, and organise goods within the facility
- Provide samples to the Quality team when required
- Monitor stock levels and prepare shipments
- Record issues against production jobs
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Counterbalance/Forklift Licence is essential
- Warehouse or stores experience desirable
- Computer literate, able to use ERP systems
Key Skills:
- Strong organisational skills and self-starter attitude
- Good timekeeping and attention to detail
- Team player, flexible and proactive
- Numeracy and literacy at an intermediate level
