Sales Account Manager - Remote/Hybrid Working  We are recruiting for a market-leading provider of cash management and fintech solutions, committed to helping businesses streamline their operations and achieve growth. Our client boasts a portfolio of their own products alongside best-in-class third-party solutions, they pride themselves on delivering strategic, reliable services to a host of global clients.  The RoleAs a Sales Account Manager, you will be the driving force behind our revenue growth and customer satisfaction. You’ll identify and pursue new business opportunities, nurture existing client relationships, and deliver tailored solutions that align with our company goals. Your personal sales target will be £1 million+ per year, covering both new business generation and expansion within our existing customer base.  Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business Development:
  • Research and target key market sectors to expand the customer base.
  • Build a pipeline of qualified prospects for the company and third-party solutions.
Strategic Sales Planning:
  • Develop and execute sales plans to hit individual revenue targets (£1 million+).
  • Conduct ongoing market research to spot trends and competitive opportunities.
Account Management:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients—building trust, managing inquiries, and resolving concerns.
  • Proactively negotiate maintenance contract renewals at least three months before expiry.
  • Work closely with finance and sales admin teams to manage outstanding debts and ensure timely payments.
Internal Collaboration & Reporting:
  • Keep Salesforce up to date, reflecting an accurate sales pipeline and dashboard.
  • Provide regular reports to your line manager and input into quarterly newsletters.
  • Support sales team activities at exhibitions and events (planning, setup, attendance).
Trial Management:
  • Ensure all trial agreements are in place with clear success criteria before kickoff.
 Your Experience & Skills
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales/account management within cash management, retail, or banking.
  • Proven track record of achieving £1 million+ revenue targets.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent market research and strategic planning abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
