- Research and target key market sectors to expand the customer base.
- Build a pipeline of qualified prospects for the company and third-party solutions.
- Develop and execute sales plans to hit individual revenue targets (£1 million+).
- Conduct ongoing market research to spot trends and competitive opportunities.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients—building trust, managing inquiries, and resolving concerns.
- Proactively negotiate maintenance contract renewals at least three months before expiry.
- Work closely with finance and sales admin teams to manage outstanding debts and ensure timely payments.
- Keep Salesforce up to date, reflecting an accurate sales pipeline and dashboard.
- Provide regular reports to your line manager and input into quarterly newsletters.
- Support sales team activities at exhibitions and events (planning, setup, attendance).
- Ensure all trial agreements are in place with clear success criteria before kickoff.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales/account management within cash management, retail, or banking.
- Proven track record of achieving £1 million+ revenue targets.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent market research and strategic planning abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
