Job Title: Sales Account Manager

Location: HybridSalary: up to £70K + Commission Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

The RoleAs a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through both new business generation and the strategic management of existing accounts. You will work across specific market sectors, representing our financial services client and third-party solutions, to meet and exceed your annual sales target of £1m+ revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted sectors to expand the customer base.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key clients, becoming their primary point of contact.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless service delivery.
  • Keep Salesforce CRM up to date with accurate pipeline data and maintain a comprehensive sales dashboard.
  • Contribute content for internal and external newsletters and customer communications.
  • Manage the setup and execution of product trials, including securing trial agreements and defining success criteria.
  • Proactively renew maintenance contracts, ensuring agreements are negotiated at least three months before expiry.
  • Liaise with the finance team to resolve outstanding customer debts and address billing queries.
  • Support the sales and marketing teams with exhibitions, events, and other promotional activities.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven track record in sales/account management, ideally within the cash management / retail / banking sector
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Target-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM) is essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and events.
