Our client is an industry-leading precision engineering company based in Milton Keynes. For over 12 years, they have delivered cutting-edge CNC milled and turned components in both metals and plastics, supporting a prestigious customer base across motorsport (including Formula 1), automotive, defence, aerospace, and industrial sectors.

Due to their continued growth and investment in the latest CNC technology, they are now seeking an experienced CNC Miller (Setter/Operator) to join their high-performing team.

What You’ll be doing as a CNC Miller;

  • Set and operate 3 and 5-axis CNC milling machines in a fast-paced precision engineering and prototype environment.
  • Work to tight tolerances across a diverse range of high-performance metals and plastics.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, ensuring precision and accuracy in every part produced.
  • Carry out in-process inspections using a variety of measurement equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and engineers to ensure production goals are met.
  • Manage multiple machines as required to meet deadlines efficiently.

What they’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator, ideally from a precision engineering background such as motorsport, aerospace, or automotive.
  • Skilled in using Heidenhain, Hurco, or Mazatrol controls.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and quality standards.
  • Confident in performing dimensional and visual checks.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to work to deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
