Senior Technical Estimator Responsibilities:

  • Producing detailed, accurate cost estimates for projects based on architectural drawings and project specifications.
  • Advising on specification compliance and identifying opportunities for value engineering.
  • Collaborating with architects, contractors, and suppliers to gather all the right information.
  • Reviewing tender documents to shape clear project briefs for the estimating team.
  • Staying up to date with fire regulations, industry standards, and competitive products.
  • Using CRM systems like Pipedrive and leveraging Excel to keep projects on track.
  • Supporting Project Consultants with quote revisions and technical queries.

Senior Technical Estimator Skills, Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Strong experience in technical estimating within construction.
  • A deep understanding of fire compliance, industry regulations, and construction practices.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with CRM tools.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
