Job Title: Production Operative - Night Shift
Location: Blakelands, Milton Keynes
Pay Rate: £16.43 per hour
Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
We’re currently recruiting for a Night Shift Production Operative to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is perfect for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working night shifts. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling and inspecting optical lenses
- Operating semi-automatic and automatic machinery
- Performing quality checks to ensure high standards are met
- Feeding lenses into machines and reporting any issues
- Packaging and labelling products accurately
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area
- Using basic software where required
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous production or warehouse experience (desirable but not essential)
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure in a calm and professional manner
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
