The Ideal Candidate Will:-
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons tailored to meet the needs of Year 6 learners

Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments (SATs) with confidence and care

Foster critical thinking, independence, and a love of learning

Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and progress

Identify and support children with additional learning needs

Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
-
Create a supportive classroom culture that encourages effort and achievement

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6

Strong knowledge of the Year 6 National Curriculum, particularly in Maths and English

Confident in preparing and delivering SATs content and assessments

Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills

Passionate about pupil progress and committed to high standards

Enhanced DBS check and suitable professional references
