As part of a successful academy trust with a strong Ofsted rating, the school is now seeking a skilled and motivated Year 6 Teacher to guide pupils through their final year of primary education.

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons tailored to meet the needs of Year 6 learners

• Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments (SATs) with confidence and care

• Foster critical thinking, independence, and a love of learning

• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and progress

• Identify and support children with additional learning needs

• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

• Create a supportive classroom culture that encourages effort and achievement

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6

• Strong knowledge of the Year 6 National Curriculum, particularly in Maths and English

• Confident in preparing and delivering SATs content and assessments

• Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills

• Passionate about pupil progress and committed to high standards

• Enhanced DBS check and suitable professional references
