Health and Safety Officer - Milton Keynes (Full-Time, On-Site)
We are supporting a well-established electrical contracting business based in Milton Keynes in their search for a Health and Safety Officer. On Offer:
- Salary £30,000 - £40,000
- Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Role Overview:
This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced Health and Safety Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous monitoring of health and safety policies and procedures across all business activities. Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive risk assessments

Ensuring ongoing compliance with health and safety legislation

Delivering safety training and promoting safety awareness among staff

Investigating incidents and producing detailed reports

Maintaining accurate safety records and documentation

Supporting and promoting a culture of safety across the workforce
Qualifications & Experience

Strong understanding of Health & Safety and Workplace Safety practices

Proven knowledge of Occupational Health and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards

NEBOSH certification (or equivalent qualification) is essential

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities

Strong attention to detail with the capacity to manage high-pressure situations

Prior experience in the electrical or construction sectors is highly desirable
