Sales Engineer

Position Overview:

An expanding, specialist manufacturing technology business, now have an opportunity for a Sales Engineer, to join a highly skilled and technically diverse team.

The business specialises in the development of Electro Chemical solutions, for the finishing and manufacture of precision metal products.

A skilled and highly motivated Sales Engineer is now required to be part of a collaborative and innovative team, working on new technologies, in the advancing sector of Additive Manufacturing.

The role will provide the opportunity to work with a diverse range of industries and clients, with opportunities for career growth and development

The company has new and exciting proprietary equipment that add real value to additive manufacturing environments, allowing for 3D printed components to be used in more industries, including safety critical environments.

The Available Market

The focus will be organisations that use 3D printed components and are seeking better, more precise/exacting finishes for their products, enabling 3D printed parts to replace more traditional manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • The sale of the company's equipment/machines into the marketplace
  • The sale of lease agreements of specialist equipment
  • The sale of subcontract services for the provision of 3D printing and component finishing
  • Aftersales support with the installation and commissioning of equipment
  • Aftersales customer training (Specialist product training will be provided)

Skills & Experience

  • A dynamic business development professional
  • Previous technical/engineering sales or applications engineering experience
  • A track record in converting and generating sales leads or a desire step into a business development role
  • A self-starter able to work autonomously
  • The ability to grasp advanced technical and metal finishing principles
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience in producing sales proposals and presentations
  • Willingness to travel - Car provided
