In motorsport the clock is always ticking and these strict deadlines filter down to their suppliers! I am looking for a Production Controller for a precision engineering business who supply parts into the motorsport and automotive industries. As the Production Controller you won't just be sat at your desk You will be down on the shopfloor, liaising with different departments to make sure production is all running smoothly!

The role;

you'll need the knowledge OR the willingness / interest to learn about CNC machining. Getting to know the process and timings of producing a part, right through to sending it to the customer is vital. You will need to understand technical diagrams and engineering drawings to be able to understand what is needed from an operational standpoint to get that component manufactured, inspected and most importantly sent to the customer on time.

What we need from you;

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple plates at once
  • Be able to work in reverse from the delivery date, to prioritise urgent jobs and set the production schedule
  • Previous production experience and a real interest in precision engineering, learning everything there is to know
