We are seeking a passionate and talented Music Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Milton Keynes on a permanent basis, starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Music Teacher to inspire and motivate students in their musical development while contributing to a dynamic and supportive school community.

As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education to students at various levels, from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 4. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of musical talents, from beginners to advanced students, helping them develop their skills in both practical and theoretical aspects of music.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons in music, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and a love for music in students.
Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of student abilities and learning styles.
Provide regular feedback and assessments to support student development and achievement.
Encourage participation in extracurricular music activities, such as school performances, concerts, and music clubs.
Collaborate with colleagues in the department and across the school to enhance the music curriculum and promote a wider appreciation for the arts.
Contribute to the ongoing development of the school's music resources and teaching strategies.

Requirements:

A valid Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
UK teaching experience in music or a related subject.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A genuine passion for music and the ability to inspire and engage students.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
The ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
