We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join a dynamic team at a Secondary School in Milton Keynes. This is a 1 Year Fixed Term position, beginning in September 2025, offering an exciting opportunity to teach chemistry within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

As a Chemistry Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students across key stages, ensuring that they develop a strong understanding of the subject while fostering a passion for science. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging chemistry lessons that are tailored to the needs and abilities of students.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and parents to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the chemistry curriculum.
  • Ensure the highest standards of behaviour management in line with school policies.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities related to the subject area, such as science clubs or revision sessions.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).
  • UK Teaching Experience in Chemistry or a closely related science subject.
  • An Enhanced DBS check will be required.
  • Passion for teaching chemistry and the ability to inspire students to reach their full potential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
