Are you a passionate and motivated Chemistry Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of scientists? A highly regarded secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a dedicated teacher of Chemistry to join their thriving Science department, teaching GCSE and A level Chemistry, on a full time basis from September 2025.The contract will initially be a 1 year fixed term, with the potential opportunity for a permanent contract at the end of the Academic Year.

The Role:

  • Deliver Chemistry lessons across Key Stages 4 & 5

  • Foster curiosity and a love of Chemistry through practical investigations and creative lesson planning

  • Support students’ academic progress and personal development

  • Contribute to curriculum planning, department meetings, and enrichment activities

  • Play an active role in the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Strong subject knowledge with a specialism in ChemistryExperience teaching in a secondary school setting (ECTs are welcomed and encouraged to apply!)Excellent classroom management, organisational, and communication skillsA genuine passion for science education and inspiring young learners
