Are you a passionate and motivated Chemistry Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of scientists? A highly regarded secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a dedicated teacher of Chemistry to join their thriving Science department, teaching GCSE and A level Chemistry, on a full time basis from September 2025.The contract will initially be a 1 year fixed term, with the potential opportunity for a permanent contract at the end of the Academic Year.
The Role:

Deliver Chemistry lessons across Key Stages 4 & 5

Foster curiosity and a love of Chemistry through practical investigations and creative lesson planning

Support students’ academic progress and personal development

Contribute to curriculum planning, department meetings, and enrichment activities

Play an active role in the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Strong subject knowledge with a specialism in ChemistryExperience teaching in a secondary school setting (ECTs are welcomed and encouraged to apply!)Excellent classroom management, organisational, and communication skillsA genuine passion for science education and inspiring young learners
