Salary: £29,344 – £44,919
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Milton Keynes from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator committed to delivering high-quality maths education and inspiring students to reach their full academic potential.  Key Responsibilities:-
Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured maths lessons in line with the national curriculum

Differentiate teaching to support pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEND and EAL
-
Track and assess pupil progress regularly, using data to inform teaching and targeted intervention
-
Promote mathematical reasoning and problem-solving through active and inclusive teaching methods
-
Uphold high standards of classroom management and behaviour in accordance with school policy
-
Contribute to departmental planning, moderation, and curriculum development
-
Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support student learning
-
Participate in school-wide events, enrichment programmes, and revision support sessions
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Experience teaching mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 is advantageous but not essential)

Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for mathematics

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Ability to motivate and inspire pupils of all backgrounds and abilities

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

Up-to-date understanding of teaching standards and educational best practice
