Spider is advertising on behalf of a leading independent pension and trustee company who are looking for a Pension Finance Administrator to join their team in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire on a fixed-term basis for 6-12 months.

About the role:

As a Pension Finance Administrator, you will play a critical role in managing the scheme bank accounts for our SIPP Members while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and service levels. You will become proficient in three different banking systems, tackling a variety of banking transactions, from daily reconciliations to pension income payments, all while upholding the highest standards of service. In this role, you will be working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver fair and consistent service to all customers in accordance with their Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) policy.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of the Pension Finance team, fulfilling specific administrative tasks that are clearly defined.
  • Maintain regular and professional communication with clients, ensuring that their needs are met to the highest standards.
  • Document and report any identified risks to your line manager and compliance team.
  • Actively engage in process reviews to identify improvements in service delivery.

About you:

You will have a strong background in Financial Services, particularly in pensions administration, with a comprehensive understanding of UK regulatory requirements and relevant pensions systems used. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is essential for effective data analysis and management. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks, paired with strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail, are crucial.
