The Opportunity

We’re currently building a strong pool of SEN Teaching Assistants to support a variety of specialist and inclusive education settings across Milton Keynes. This is a highly flexible opportunity, perfect for professionals looking to balance work around other commitments while making a meaningful impact on young lives.

You’ll be working within primary, secondary, and specialist provisions, supporting pupils with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, MLD, SLD, and complex additional needs.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Delivering tailored 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND

  • Collaborating with teachers to adapt lessons and promote accessibility

  • Supporting learners’ academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and social skills

  • Implementing individual behaviour plans and support strategies

  • Helping to foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

  • Providing personal care support where required (setting dependent)

What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN (professional or personal)

  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient mindset

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Confidence working across a range of SEN and specialist environments

  • A genuine commitment to inclusive education and pupil development

  • Relevant SEN or education qualifications are desirable, but not essential
