Great opportunity for a motivated, multi - skilled and self - driven individual to join our Maintenance team.The Role:Supporting the Maintenance Manager in completing general maintenance at our Head Office and Showrooms. As part of the maintenance team, you will also be working on showroom refurbishments and new store fitouts. For these duties, you will be expected to travel to the showroom location. Dependant on location of the showroom refurbishments projects will require you to stay away from home.Duties:

  • Carry out general repairs and building work, including carpentry, minor plumbing, decoration and any other reasonable task requested by the line manager in connection with the general upkeep of internal and external areas.
  • Showroom refurbs including undertaking rip out work.
  • Carrying out finishing work, such as painting and decorating.
  • Providing high standards of repairs and maintenance across multi trades.
  • Inspecting repairs.
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment to complete tasks.

Experience of the Maintenance Assistant:

  • An all rounder with strong practical skills to include carpentry and plumbing.
  • Customer skills - Has an outstanding work ethic and the drive to complete work to an excellent standard.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and work in different settings.
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to work on own initiative and work in small teams, as well as lone working.
  • Driving licence desirable.
