About the RolePertemps is currently recruiting for Chilled Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse team in Tewkesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, has great attention to detail, and thrives in a team environment.You’ll be working in a chilled (temperature-controlled) warehouse environment where you’ll play a key role in picking and preparing customer orders, maintaining stock rotation, and ensuring safe loading of vehicles for distribution.Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately pick and prepare customer orders using order tickets
  • Complete stock rotation and replenishment tasks
  • Load delivery vehicles securely and safely for transportation
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures
  • Report incidents or hazards promptly
  • Carry out any other duties as directed by supervisors
What We’re Looking ForEssential:
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a chilled environment
  • Flexible with shift patterns and able to work weekends if needed
Desirable:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, food production, or distribution role
  • Forklift truck license (or willingness to be trained)
  • Understanding of health & safety and food hygiene regulations
