One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Caretaker on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday06:45am until 10:15am and 14:45pm until 18:45pm
Overview:
- Duties will include providing a professional cleaning/caretaking service at the School, ensuring that the establishment is opened and closed at designated times, in the approved conditions for occupancy and carrying our daily cleaning duties.
General Duties:
- To receive and check all goods and supplies (except for contractors goods) for both the school to distribute them as necessary.
- To report to the Headtacher any defects affecting the health and safety of persons on the site and, when possible, make safe and isolate hazards. (Internal only)
- To carry out handypersons duties for the whole site examples of which are categorised below.(Internal only)
