Long Term Supply English Teacher (KS3 & KS4)

-Contract Type: Full Time, Term Time Only (Agency)
-Schedule: 5 Days a Week
-Start Date: November 2025
-Contract Length: November 2025 - February 2026 (with potential to extend)

About the job

A well regarded secondary academy in South West London is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher to provide long-term supply cover across KS3 and KS4. This full time role will run from November 2025 through to February 2026, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic and supportive department committed to delivering high quality English education.

About you
This opportunity is ideal for qualified English teachers with experience teaching across KS3 and KS4. Whether you're an experienced educator or an early career teacher (ECT) looking to build long term relationships in a school setting, we welcome your application. Strong classroom management, a passion for literature and language and the ability to engage students of varying abilities will be key to success in this role.

Essential qualities:
-QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
-Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
-Confident classroom presence and effective behaviour management
-Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
-Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
