We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 2 for an immediate start, to work with Year 1 students at a local school in Morecambe. This role is ideal for someone who has experience or a strong interest in working with children in Key Stage 1 (KS1).

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily activities, ensuring they meet the educational needs of the children.
  • Support the teacher in managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.
  • Help with the setup and cleanup of activities and materials to facilitate daily classroom routines.
  • Work closely with the teacher to monitor the progress of students and provide feedback.
  • Assist children with special educational needs, under the direction of the teacher.
  • Engage with children during lessons to enhance their learning experience and foster a positive relationship.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children in KS1 is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and development.
  • Commitment to professional growth and continuous development.
  • Ability to teach phonics sessions advantageous
