- Supporting the Planned Maintenance and Decarbonisation Manager in the delivery and oversight of retrofit and energy-efficiency projects.
- Working collaboratively with a range of contractors and stakeholders to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality delivery of a large-scale residential decarbonisation programme.
- Conducting regular site visits and inspections (daily/weekly as required) to monitor progress, verify compliance, and address on-site issues.
- Overseeing works including but not limited to:
- External Wall Insulation (EWI)
- Internal Wall Insulation (IWI)
- Solar PV installations
- Potentially other fabric-first or renewable energy measures
- Ensuring all works are delivered in line with PAS 2035, health & safety standards, and any relevant grant or funding requirements.
- Assisting with documentation, reporting, and handovers as required.
- Experience in property surveying or construction oversight, particularly within social housing, retrofit, or energy efficiency contexts.
- Working knowledge of decarbonisation measures, especially EWI, IWI, and solar technologies.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple site visits and contractor relationships.
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Relevant qualifications in building surveying, construction management, or retrofit coordination (desirable but not essential).
- Training on systems will be provided
- Equipment to carry out this role will be provided
