Your main role will be:
- Setting / Operating CNC machines
- Interpreting drawings
- Deciding tooling selection and the method of manufacture
- To ensure that the correct material is selected
- Monitoring the quality of components using CMM inspection etc.. and complete quality documentation
- To perform daily routine maintenance as required on equipment and report any issues
- To correctly identify and mark all work order products.
You will need:
- Experience in milling, turning, threading, drilling and other machining activities.
- Experience with fine tolerance and small batch precision work
- Experience of 4th axis
- Experience in the use of a range of measuring equipment, micrometers, vernier gauges, pin gauges etc.
- Experience of working in an ISO 9001 environment
And even more advantageous
- Experience in Mastercam & OneCNC programming, Mazak and Mazatrol
- A forklift
