  • Hours: 35 hours per week

  • Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Location: Hybrid - New Milton (UK-based role, hybrid/remote work must also be within the UK)

Join our client and take on the pivotal role of Forecasting & Stock Controller, where you will oversee inventory management operations and ensure efficient stock levels and smooth supply chain processes. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in demand forecasting, stock analysis, and supply chain management.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

Inventory Management & Optimisation:

  • Ensure accurate stock levels across all locations.
  • Develop strategies to minimise stock discrepancies and optimise working capital requirements.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems and best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Demand Forecasting & Supplier Coordination:

  • Manage the end-to-end Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP) process.
  • Analyse sales trends to accurately forecast future inventory needs.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure optimal stock availability and negotiate contracts effectively.

Team Leadership & Process Improvement:

  • Supervise and train the Supply Chain and Procurement teams.
  • Optimise inventory processes using the latest automation and technology.
  • Identify and implement improvements in stock management systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in demand forecasting, stock analysis, and supply chain management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in forecasting and planning software such as SAP, Oracle, StockTrim, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a proven ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
  • Strategic thinker, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
