Automatic Door Technician
A growing supplier of automatic doors is looking to grow their team of specialist Automatic Door Technicians. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Technician with a background in automatic doors, based in New York.
Key Responsibilities as an Automatic Door Technician:
- Perform service, maintenance, and repair tasks for a variety of swing/slide automatic doors from multiple manufacturers
- Accurately complete all necessary service forms, reports, and documentation, while maintaining CRM and service systems in compliance with company policy
- Support system installation and configuration at industry trade shows
- Collaborate effectively with Service Management, providing updates on assigned tasks and promptly reporting any field issues that may impact service deadlines
- Assist the installation team as needed
- Adhere to safe working practices and instructions in compliance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications and Skills required:
- AAADM accreditation
- Demonstrated experience with a diverse range of automatic doors
- Relevant experience in industries such as glazing, passenger lifts, HVAC or automotive
- Valid driver's license
- A positive attitude and the ability to independently solve problems
- Exceptional customer service skills
