Overview

Role and Responsibilities

As a Project Architect, you'll lead and manage the full architectural design process across all RIBA stages (0-7) on a variety of pioneering sustainable projects. Working closely with Directors, clients, consultants, and contractors, you will ensure the smooth delivery of projects from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading day-to-day operations and design coordination on assigned projects
  • Producing and managing detailed design, planning, and construction documentation
  • Overseeing planning processes and engaging with local authorities and regulatory bodies
  • Managing project timelines, budgets, and risk assessments
  • Coordinating internal and external teams to maintain high-quality output
  • Supporting site coordination and responding to technical queries during construction

About You

This role is ideal for experienced Architects with at least 2 years post Part 3 experience or equivalent. You will be:

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing projects while collaborating effectively within a team
  • Skilled at building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Experienced in design coordination and project management
  • Knowledgeable with proven experience in planning and building control processes
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills
  • Competent in writing detailed specification documents
  • Able to contribute effectively at all levels of the design process
  • Commercially aware
