Role and Responsibilities
As a Project Architect, you'll lead and manage the full architectural design process across all RIBA stages (0-7) on a variety of pioneering sustainable projects. Working closely with Directors, clients, consultants, and contractors, you will ensure the smooth delivery of projects from concept to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading day-to-day operations and design coordination on assigned projects
- Producing and managing detailed design, planning, and construction documentation
- Overseeing planning processes and engaging with local authorities and regulatory bodies
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and risk assessments
- Coordinating internal and external teams to maintain high-quality output
- Supporting site coordination and responding to technical queries during construction
About You
This role is ideal for experienced Architects with at least 2 years post Part 3 experience or equivalent. You will be:
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing projects while collaborating effectively within a team
- Skilled at building and maintaining strong relationships
- Experienced in design coordination and project management
- Knowledgeable with proven experience in planning and building control processes
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills
- Competent in writing detailed specification documents
- Able to contribute effectively at all levels of the design process
- Commercially aware
