About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Receivable Senior to join our vibrant Finance team. You’ll be part of a small team of three, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for a wide range of finance tasks and play a key part in supporting internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing sales and purchase invoices
  • Bank transaction processing and reconciliation
  • Assisting with payroll and VAT returns
  • Supporting monthly management accounts and audit preparation
  • Assisting with debt collection
  • Processing and reconciling trade loans (training provided)
  • Handling mileage, credit card, and expense claims
  • Supplier statement reconciliations and payments
  • Responding to customer and supplier queries via phone and email

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ bookkeeping/accounts experience
  • Ability to process journals
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a small team

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other ERP systems
