Sheridan Maine are working with a global business based in Newbury who are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, primary duties of the role include:
  • Checking payments and allocating to accounts
  • Dealing with invoice and payment queries
  • Monitoring aged debt and undertaking credit control duties
  • Performing account reconciliations
  • Producing management reports
  • Setting up new customers on to the accounting system
  • Assessing customer account limits and performing credit checks
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with finance experience (accounts receivable/ credit control)  or someone looking for a company that can provide training and study support for AAT.  The successful candidate will be hard working and reliable, a good team player and enthusiastic.
