Are you an experienced Paraplanner, who relishes being part of a small, client-centric team?Based in Gosforth, our client delivers client focused, life-centred financial planning. A small team, they support each other to ensure the business grows and clients receive the best possible service - every single time. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone to receive full exam & training support (if required) along with working in an environment where their voice can be heard. The role will appeal to either career paraplanners or, individuals keen to progress into an advice role, in the future.Responsibilities:· Prepare for and attend client meetings with the Financial Planners, developing relationships with clients and acting as first port of call for client queries· Technical research, financial planning recommendations and implement solutions· Analyse portfolios, benchmarking, rebalancing and on-going portfolio maintenance· Analyse client data and prepare cash flow analyses (usng Voyant)· Liaise with product providers and other third parties· Delegate tasks effectively to the administrative support team, ensuring the highest levels of client service are delivered· Ensure all regulatory and compliance standards are met· Contribute to the ongoing development of best practice within the business

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must have previously worked as Paraplanner
  • Knowledge and experience of all areas of financial planning - investment portfolio management, pensions, taxation, protection, estate planning etc.
  • Experience of, or keen to learn, cash flow modelling (Voyant)
  • Experience of dealing with complex financial planning or high net worth clients, ideally
  • A strong relationship builder and collaborative team player with a caring and quality focused, customer centric approach
  • Sound technology and mathematical aptitude
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage workflow effectively

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip PFS) desirable, not essential
