Our award-winning Client is seeking aTank Cleaning Operativeto join their expanding company on a full time, permanent basis. This role will require flexibility to stay away from home.

THE ROLE

AsTank Cleaning Operative, you will be working with a unique and bespoke product, therefore full training will be given. Your duties will include:

  • Read, understand, and follow installation and O&M manuals for all of our product ranges.
  • Be responsible for cleaning storage tanks, both above and below ground.
  • Attend on-site tool box talks and assist with site safety paperwork.
  • Identify and resolve water quality issues, recommending tank cleans and legionella testing.
  • Carry out remedial works and repairs to the highest standard.
  • Understand WRAS requirements and British Standard BS EN16941.
  • Carry out tasks such as filter replacements, pipework upgrades, and non-return valve installations.
  • Provide detailed reports post-completion, including photos and observations.
  • Adhere to RAMS and on-site health and safety requirements.

THE CANDIDATE

An idealTank Cleaning Operativeshould possess the following:

  • A full UK Driving Licence with no more than 3 points.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety at work.
  • Eagerness for training and be happy to work towards CSCS, working at heights and working in confined spaces qualifications, if not already achieved.
  • Computer literate with experience of the basic Microsoft packages.
  • A team player.
  • Enthusiastic and hardworking attitude.
  • Ability to think on your feet and be self motivated.
  • Flexibility to travel around the UK and stay away from home up to4 nights a weekwith hotels and food budget.
  • Organised and methodical, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and confident telephone manner.
