  • Act as the critical link between public sector stakeholders and delivery teams, using data and insights to assess processes, capture requirements, and shape effective, user-centred solutions.
  • Develop functional specifications, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other artefacts to communicate clear and actionable requirements to delivery teams.
  • Conduct business impact assessments across multiple departments or policy areas to evaluate and prepare for change.
  • Support service design by mapping current vs. future state journeys, identifying service gaps, and proposing enhancements.
  • Work closely with delivery managers, user researchers, content designers, and developers in agile, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure operational readiness across government stakeholders and support successful rollouts through training plans and change comms.
  • Contribute to testing phases by reviewing test scripts, clarifying requirements, and triaging defects.
At Senior Analyst and Consultant Levels, you will:
  • Take ownership of client relationships and lead discovery phases with government stakeholders.
  • Translate complex policy or operational requirements into clear digital service specifications.
  • Work closely with technical and solution architects to shape robust, secure, and scalable public sector systems.
  • Coach and mentor junior analysts and help build capability within the wider team.
  • Apply a strong toolkit of Business Analysis methods (e.g., MoSCoW prioritisation, BPMN, user story mapping, root cause analysis).
  • Have experience working to GDS (Government Digital Service) standards or equivalent public sector frameworks.
  • Demonstrate a track record of delivering successful digital services within the public sector.
