Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a Document Controller to join a large multidisciplinary consultancy, on a contract basis, outside IR35.

This position will require you to work in the client’s office four days a week in Newcastle, with one day a week working remotely from home, working on an exciting large shipyard project.

As the selected candidate, you will be responsible for all document control functions ensuring compliance with the company’s and client’s requirements.

As a large, multi-disciplinary consultancy, our client specialises in providing civil and structural design expertise across a range of infrastructure projects in the UK. The consultancy has profound experience in a variety of sectors, including energy, aviation and urban development.

What you will be responsible for:

-Effectively communicate with project management, clients and sub-contractors, to ensure that information is distributed and managed correctly.

-Solve problems relating to documentation, information and associated data.

-Define and develop project document reports and statistics.

-Ensure the correct implementation and use of document management processes, systems, and tools.

-Appropriately process and store project documentation within internal server.

Key requirements:

-Previous experience in a document control role.

-Experience with Aconex is essential for this role.

-Knowledge and awareness of the UK BIM framework and standards.

-Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and document management software.

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
