Laboratory Technician 15-25 hours per week ( Mon to Fri)Salary: £25 - £30k per annum pro-rata - experience dependingNewcastle - PermanentWe have an amazing opportunity with an award winning specialist adhesives manufacturing company located in the North East. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct sampling and testing of adhesive products and substrates to industry standards.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with laboratory quality systems and industry regulations.
  • Support the upkeep and operational readiness of lab equipment and facilities.
  • Manage lab consumables, reagents, and retained samples.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners on testing and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records to support quality and audit requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • A-Level or higher in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related science.
  • Understanding of health and safety (QHSE/COSHH) practices in a chemical lab setting.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Previous experience in a laboratory environment is highly desirable.
  •  NVQ Level 2 or equivalent are desirable however not mandatory
