We are seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to join the team, the ideal candidate will ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards through detailed inspections and analysis.
Quality Inspector - Job Description:
- Inspection of goods in, goods out, sub contract work and all purchased parts, ensuring compliance to requirements before release
- In process and finished goods inspection
- Logging direct activities onto ERP system
- Communication of quality failures to relevant department and managers
- Carrying out audits
- Undertake First Article Inspection Reports activities in accordance with internal processes
- Calibration of measuring equipment
- To support the supply chain to both internal and external customers
- Signing first and last inspection reports
- Reporting of non-conforming parts and ensuring containment is completed
- To ensure zero defects reach end user
Person Specification:
- Previous quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to use equipment such as Verniers, micrometers, PI tapes and CMM or FARO
- Work on your own and as part of a team
Hours of Operation:
- Monday to Thursday, 07:00 - 16:45 however there maybe the need to work two shifts to support the shop floor as and when required
