Quality Inspector
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Salary: £33,000 – £36,000 + overtime + benefits

Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector:
- Inspecting goods in, in-process, and finished components to specification
- Reviewing material certification and ensuring compliance before release
- Using a range of measuring tools
- Completing First Article Inspection Reports and calibration checks
- Identifying non-conforming parts, reporting quality issues, and ensuring corrective actions are completed
- Supporting internal process audits and continuous improvement initiatives
About the Quality Inspector:
- At least 2 year’s experience as a Quality Inspector within a heavy engineering or metals environment
- Strong understanding of quality control principles, documentation, and standards
- Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments
- Confident communicating quality concerns across production, engineering, and supply chain teams
