This is a vital role supporting some of the most vulnerable children and young people in the area, ensuring they receive the care, protection, and opportunities they deserve.Key Responsibilities:Hold a manageable caseload of complex cases involving children in care.Lead on care planning and permanence planning, ensuring the child's voice is central.Provide supervision and support to less experienced social workers and contribute to their development.Work in partnership with multi-agency professionals, families, and carers to achieve positive outcomes.Ensure all work complies with statutory requirements, local procedures, and best practice standards.Requirements:Social Work England registration.Degree in Social Work (or equivalent).Minimum of 3 years' post-qualifying experience in children's social care, preferably with looked after children.Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills.Enhanced DBS check.Benefits:Competitive hourly rate of £33.41.Supportive team and regular supervision.Opportunity to make a real impact in children's lives.£300 referral bonus
