Great opportunity for a Technical Manager to join a leading residential developer/contractor and lead a 300+ unit projects from stage 4 through to completion and handover. The Technical manager will be joining a £1 Billion turnover business and help with the delivery of the strong pipeline of work they have acquired.

Job Description:
The Technical Manager will oversee all technical aspects of RC frame residential developments from stage 4 through to completion and hand over. Acting as the key liaison between design teams, consultants, and site teams, you’ll ensure that all drawings, specifications, and construction details are coordinated, compliant, and buildable. You’ll lead the technical design process, manage design risks, and drive efficient project delivery aligned with the development program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate architectural and engineering design teams

  • Review and approve technical drawings and specifications

  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and planning conditions

  • Provide technical support to construction and commercial teams

  • Identify and resolve design issues throughout project lifecycle

  • Monitor design progress against program and report to senior management

Requirements:

  • Strong background in residential construction

  • Experience with UK Building Regulations and planning processes

  • Excellent coordination and communication skills
