We are recruiting an Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Newhaven. This Assembly Operative role is suited to someone with practical experience in both metalwork and woodwork, working within a structured workshop environment.
  
As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for assembling engineered products using metal and wooden components, following drawings and build instructions to ensure quality and consistency. This Assembly Operative position offers long-term stability, consistent hours, and the opportunity to develop within a skilled production team.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Assembly of metal and wood components using hand and power tools
• Following engineering drawings and assembly instructions
• Carrying out drilling, cutting, fastening, and finishing operations
• Completing visual and basic dimensional quality checks
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area

Experience Required

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience
• Practical background in metalwork and woodwork
• Confident using hand tools and workshop equipment
• Good attention to detail and reliability
