Assembly Operatives Wanted - Newmarket (CB8)

Gap personnel are looking for Assembly Operatives to join our client’s busy and growing manufacturing team in Newmarket. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to develop their skills within a supportive, hands-on production environment.

Working in a friendly and hardworking team, carrying out a range of assembly and production tasks to ensure that products are made, checked, and packed to a high standard. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided to help you succeed in your role.

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm | Friday, 8:00am – 1:00pm
Contract Type: Temporary, ongoing work. Permanent opportunities available for the right candidate
Location: Newmarket, CB8

Duties:

• Carrying out the basic assembly of components and products.
• Conducting visual and quality checks to maintain high production standards.
• Packing and labelling finished items ready for dispatch.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area. Adhering to health and safety standards.
• Assisting with general factory duties as required to support the wider team.

Skills & Experience required:

• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with others.
• Punctuality and reliability. This is a full-time role.
• Flexibility to take on new tasks as needed.
