Line Leader

A very exciting opportunity to join our client who specialise in the food production industry just outside of Newport, Shropshire has arisen.

We are looking for an experienced, talented and skilled Line Leader to join on a temp to perm basis working 12 weeks through Swift Temps before being offered a permanent contract with the company.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure product and packaging meets customer and company specifications
• Ensure production is running smoothly as per production plan
• Set up job and batch for processing
• Record all raw/ packing materials
• Ensure sufficient stock to run batches
• Ensure all production data paperwork is completed accurately
• Close jobs using the internal system
• Completion of all production related paperwork
• coach, mentor and lead a team of production operatives
• Quality inspection
• General housekeeping nd maintenance of equipment used

Requirements:

• Computer literate
• Excellent communicator, verbally and written
• Flexible
• Internal Auditor and HACCP trained (preferred)
• Excellent organisation and member of the team

This is working with Fresh produce and would suit somebody who has experience of PPE and working within a food environment.
