Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their practice based in Newport, Isle of Wight
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Ideally AAT qualified, but practice trained candidates will be considered
- At least 3 years recent practice experience
- Experience working in a varied and busy environment
The role entails:
- Preparing annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparing VAT returns
- Bookkeeping (experience using both cloud and desktop based software)
- Preparing self assessment tax returns
- Dealing with client queries relevant to level of experience
The salary for this role is negotiable
